Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where are you located?

I’m based in Frisco, TX, but proudly serve surrounding areas throughout Texas.

Q: Do I have to take off work in order to work with an interior decorator?

I offer flexible scheduling, including after-hours and weekend appointments to accommodate your availability. We will work together to find a time that suits your needs.

Q: How does Decorating Den Interiors work?

We are a full-service interior design business. We’ve been in business for over 80 years and have over 250 franchises across North America. All of our appointments are conducted in our clients home for your convenience. Whether it’s a full room design or a few items to complete your vision, we have the products and expertise to make your interior decorating dreams come true. Check out our How We Work page for more details!

Q: What happens on my first appointment?

I do a walk-through of your space and get a better understanding of what you have in mind for your project. We will discuss your budget, design styles, and any other specifics to ensure we’re aligned on your goals. This helps me get a comprehensive overview of what needs to be accomplished and allows us to start creating a tailored design plan for you.

Q: How do I determine a budget for my project?

I determine your budget by offering three levels: good, better and best. These tiers help guide the selection of companies and the extent of details we incorporate into your project. The ‘Good’ level is more basic, while the ‘Better’ and ‘Best’ levels allow for more customization and higher-end options. We will discuss these options to find the best fit for your needs and preferences.

Q: Is there a minimum or maximum project size?

There is no minimum or maximum project size. I offer services for everything from a single window covering to the entire home.

Q: Will you work with my existing pieces/furnishings that are in the room?

Absolutely! I am happy to work with your favorite pieces and integrate them into the new design. My goal is to enhance your space while incorporating the pieces you already love.
